The Drowning | Live Booking:
Throughout the years The Drowning have played on stages both big and small, gigs from the grand to the intimate, alone or in the company of luminaries of the doom metal scene; but wherever they play they manage to stun audiences with the majestic, emotion-charged power of their music and to create a bond with their listeners. As magnificent and awe inspiring as their music may be, the band members themselves retain a down to earth attitude and approach that connects with crowds everywhere. Everyone in the venue, no matter the size, is drawn into The Drowning’s performance, taken along with them on an intensely emotional journey, tempered by the good natured humour and camaraderie between the songs. A Drowning gig is a shared experience bringing band and crowd together – and never forgotten.During the first decade of their career the band toured across the UK and Europe, sharing stages and stories with the likes of: VON, PANTHEIST, EYE OF SOLITUDE, FEN, GHAST, SPACE WITCH, OFFICIUM TRISTE, THE PROPHECY, BEHOLDER, FAAL and many more...

The Drowning then rounded off that year by joining MASTER and DEHUMAN for their show in Cardiff. 2018 began with a trip to Belgium, where the band shared the stage at the inaugural HAUNTING THE CASTLE festival with THE VISION BLEAK and other great bands. After the success of their 2017 tour with VADER, 2018 also saw The Drowning joining the Polish death metal titans for another jaunt around the UK – this time with ENTOMBED A.D. and HELLAVISTA also on the bill. This tour culminated with a stunning show at The Dome in London, with ZERO TOLERANCE describing The Drowning’s performance as “simply magnificent”.
2019 sees The Drowning with a new label, Transcending Obscurity Records and an incredible new album to promote in The Radiant Dark. A string of UK live dates with the likes of MY SILENT WAKE, GODTHRYMM and SHADOWFLAG await, as well as a trip to The Netherlands, where The Drowning will join CARDINALS FOLLY and LORD VICAR at LITTLE DEVIL DOOM DAY IV.Wherever they play The Drowning are hailed for their musical ability, their connection with the crowd, their breathtaking music and consummately professional performance.
