De Profundis announce 10 year anniversary show!

September 24, 2017

Throughout 2017 De Profundis have been celebrating ten years as a recording band, a decade since the release of their first album, Beyond Redemption. The celebrations began with a UK tour with Taake and Fen, followed by a full European jaunt alongside David Vincent’s I Am Morbid, gore metal legends Necrophagia, Helsott and openers The Heretic Order. Next was the release of Decayed: 2007 – 2017, a career retrospective collection featuring a brand new track, ‘An Orgy Of Grotesqueries’, that was given away free with 10,000 copies of Zero Tolerance Magazine. It’s been a busy, celebratory year for De Profundis, but all good things must come to an end – and what better way to bring down the curtain on their anniversary celebrations than with a special gig, back at the venue where the whole De Profundis story began?

On October 21st De Profundis return to The Unicorn in Camden, London where they played their first ever gig. Playing the Unicorn not only gives the perfect historical balance to this conclusion of De Profundis’ 10th anniversary year, it also allows them to make this special night a free entry show, so as many fans as possible will be able to share in the celebrations. This show will see the band drawing a line under the early part of their career and many of their classic songs will be aired for what may be the last time, as they prepare for a new and exciting chapter in their career with the 2018 release of their fifth album. This promises to be a night of beautiful nostalgia and thrilling new beginnings that will live long in the memory.

To make this night even more special De Profundis have invited fellow Imperative PR band, Meat Train to join them – and Meat Train will be taking the opportunity to launch their brand new album, Random Acts Of Carnage, which will be unleashed by Contagion Records on September 29th.

Making the night complete will be an opening performance from exciting death metal prospect ATVM.

Join us, for an unforgettable night of the very best in UK death metal.
