Desecresy's music exists to weave dark, immersive atmosphere, to transport the listener to haunted tombs and ancient labyrinths on the shoulders of vast, soul shaking riffs, thick with the dust of centuries, while subterranean vocal exhortations intone the rites and rituals of a shadow world, the histories and desires of the restless dead.   The journey begins in the 'Gorge Of The Dead', as crawling, filth-encrusted riffs rise around you like cemetery mist, a cavernous voice rumbling from its tomb below your feet. Passages of lead guitar trace cold melodies through the night air and every element of sound serves the creation of atmosphere, drawing you in, ever deeper, the mundane world about you fading from perception. The flailing, gurgling, monstrous 'It Appears In A Dream' follows, the inhuman vocals like the speech of the dead - pronounced with rotting tongue and worm-eaten vocal cords. The aura of the grave hangs heavy as this music of the deceased and entombed unfurls - definitive, absolute death metal. Ravenous apparitions pursue you through the shuddering thunder of 'Crypthymn' with its glorious, necrosed bass rumble. 'Rotting Ghouls', sound and subject in perfect alignment, lumbers through a miasma of rot with corroding, collapsing riffs and drumbeats like hammers hitting the cold flesh of a carcass, building to a swirling cacophony of moonlight and madness, damp soil and terror. And it all ends in the layered film score atmosphere, bludgeoning riffs and fear-filled guitar motifs of 'Vanishing Existence' - a nightmarish epic and haunting conclusion to this mesmerising danse macabre. Desecresy's ongoing odyssey through the realms of stygian gloom has uncovered new grim secrets and fresh depths of horror!
