  In my dreams I can fly; shedding the chains of deceit that bind my spirit in darkness. I race beneath the sapphire skies over hillsides and forests, my heart laughing, singing, bursting with beautiful adrenaline, infused with joy and exhilaration. Pain and regret lie abandoned in my wake and as the grasping hands of betrayal reach for me I dive beneath the waves, spiralling through the cool water, pierced by rays of brilliant sunlight. Here I find you, framed in sweet silence amongst the colours and the shadows, your arms open wide...and here I am free.

  The finest music can touch our souls and set us free from the pressures and heartaches of our everyday lives. It can fire our imaginations and for the glorious minutes of its duration send us riding along slipstreams of melody and emotion. With their new EP, Mediterraneo, Italian progressive metallers Even Flow have created just such an uplifting sonic elixir of wonder. From the first notes of opening track, ‘Ocean Lies’, we are hit with a wave of positivity and excitement and carried away into a realm of cascading keyboards, soaring vocal lines and guitars that paint grand, enveloping landscapes. ‘Ray Of Light’ exemplifies the band’s ability to blend stellar musicianship with performances that radiate a powerful depth of feeling and song writing that entrances and captivates.
