Hailing from Chile, M Eidolon is a musician, a composer, an explorer of realms, a soul on an endless search. Through the medium of I Proélefsi, an outpouring of instrumental black metal, entwined in threads of dark ambient atmosphere, he seeks connections to ancient wisdom, lost knowledge and the essential truths of existence. From flesh to shadow, from light to unending night. From the world of breath and blood, tumultuous passions and ever-changing hopes and dreams, to the quiet depths of eternity, of timeless dust and inexorable judgement. You flicker upon the pebbled bank of a vast, still river - its distant, opposite shore lost in darkness - and from the stygian gloom you hear the sound of movement upon the water. A dim light is moving through the shadows, drawing nearer, its progress unhurried and inevitable…

Opening track 'Apochróseis · Αποχρώσεις (Shadows)' delivers us to the shores of the Styx, enshrouding us in darkness, transporting us to another world with its ambient textures - and once we are immersed in our new reality Varkáris · Βαρκάρης (Boatman) leaps from the shadows, full of portent and fury. The atmosphere is laden with fear, the dazzling lead guitar weaving its tapestry of captivating imagery as Kharon carries us across the obsidian waters, through visions of torment and desolation. With its immense chords and inherent melody Kynigóskylo · Κυνηγόσκυλο (Hound) brings us into the presence of Cerberus, the guardian of the gates of Hades, in all his majesty and coiled power. This song radiates a sense of awe-inspiring magnitude and an aura of dread reverence as we pass beneath Cerberus' baleful stare and enter into the realms of the dead. Unnerving keyboards lead us into the presence of Dikastés · Δικαστές (Judges), where we stand before chilling, emotionless authority. The song explodes into an array of thundering drums and cascading guitars, turmoil and tumult and with each passing moment our fate becomes clearer…we will be cast down. We plummet into the eternal prison of the gargantuan titans as the doleful bass tones of Tártaros · Τάρταρος (Tartarus) envelop us. It's an overwhelming, soul-crushing conclusion to an incredible sonic journey, one that haunts the mind long after the voices of the fallen giants have faded into silence.
