  After a suitably unnerving intro, a presage of the horror and darkness to come, Ectoplasmic Rape Phenomena erupts into violent life with the thick, snarling guitars of ‘Raptured, Tortured And Chained’. With its imperious, merciless vocal presence, feral ferocity and chaos unbound this is music that was spawned before the altars of the undead Swedish gods of death! From the lurching monstrosity of ‘Offered To The Dead’ to the wild violence of ‘Leeches On My Dick’ this is not a musical experience of countless nuances and subtleties. It does not leave you pondering its infinite lyrical and musical permutations – it simply tears you apart. Fires up that chainsaw guitar and rips you to shreds. As Sodom once famously proclaimed – the saw is the law! The rabid brutality of songs like ‘Mediumistic Intercession’, the blasting, battering, howling horror, is breathtaking…but these cacophonies of savagery are all layered upon a steel skeleton of accomplished song construction – there is method within this madness. Be it the Slayerized riffs of ‘One Foot In The Grave’, spiralling down into that final black hole, or the majestic malevolence and decay of ‘Sulphureal Morbid Corpse’, Necrogore have combined chilling atmosphere and sickening rot to forge classic death metal anthems imbued with a dark, addictive power. Concluding with a masterful interpretation of the theme from ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2’ by Jerry Lambert, feeding the original into a meatgrinder of distortion, Ectoplasmic Rape Phenomena is an album of absolute bestial magnificence!
