NO WORTH OF MAN – THE KILLING STREETS

    LABEL: BRUTAL RECORDS

    RELEASE DATE: FEBRUARY 13th 2026

Miami, 1985…it ain’t a nice place to be. It’s becoming like hell on earth, with the undead lurking down every alleyway and hovering on the margins of the ubiquitous neon glow. The vampires have infiltrated every strata of this cesspool of secrets and vice we laughingly call a society and they’re draining us dry; biting and bloodsucking their way to total domination. It’s hard to know who to trust – who’s got your back and who’s going to sink their teeth in when you turn it. But we’re not quite done yet; us humans, we have our champions…a group of men whose accumulated firepower is matched only by the garishness of their garb. They call themselves No Worth Of Man and they’re taking back our dirty streets one stake at a time.

Scourge of vampires and purveyors of the very heaviest of extreme metal, No Worth Of Man are an inexorable war machine. Having honed their skills, upgraded their weaponry and refined their tactics over a series of EPs and singles, the band are now ready to unleash their full length debut album. The Killing Streets erupts with the colossal riffs of ‘I Defy’ and the essence of that title can be heard in every soul shaking vocal roar and felt in every bone splintering drum beat. There is no room for debate or compromise with this band; they are resolute, defiant, solid steel to the end. ‘Those Of Our Kind’ transports you to the late night streets, moving between the pools of neon light, ready to unleash a barrage of lead and silver. The titanic vocal power of Peter Gale is staggering as he blasts his way through the bulldozing grooves laid down by drummer Gareth Lucas and guitarist Alex Punchard. However, to assume that The Killing Streets is simply a remorseless weapon of mass destruction would be a mistake. Yes, it hits hard, time and time again, but there are dark melodies seething beneath the body armour and muscle and the atmosphere of the fear filled streets is thrilling and immersive, the ever tightening tension fed by a threat of imminent violence. As the riffs of ‘Death Reflections’ roll you’re right there, looking down the barrel at the predators in need of some shotgun redemption. Concluding track ‘Kill Of Gold’ brings everything that is great about No Worth Of Man together in one final bloodbath. It’s savagely addictive and possesses the biggest, sharpest hooks of all, strong enough to hang a vampire on. It’s a fantastically accomplished display of song writing, a perfectly paced, devastating ending that leaves the listener with a hunger for more.

Mixed and mastered by Fredrick Nordstrom (Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames etc) The Killing Streets sounds magnificent – the crowning glory of a career that began back in 2016. No Worth Of Man’s unique chemistry has become more potent with each release and The Killing Streets is set to crush everything in its path when Brutal Records unleash its formidable force on Friday, February 13th – definitely a date of ill omen for the undead fraternity!
