SERMON TO THE LAMBS – SERMON TO THE LAMBS LABEL: COMATOSE MUSIC RELEASE DATE: MARCH 6th 2026

Rising through the countless layers of the inferno, through an eternity of screams and tears, pleas and regret, he brings his message from the unfathomable depths of darkness and flame. Such is his form, his dark abyssal presence, that sanity crumbles beneath the gaze of his multitudinous eyes…and his words of desolation turn flesh to liquid. The abject creatures that have gathered to receive his malediction cower in awe, before falling from madness to destruction. Worshippers become sacrifices as the forgotten king delivers his sermon to the lambs…
A new entity from the depths of the death metal underground has emerged, a baleful presence stepping forth from the shadows to deliver judgement without mercy. Hailing from Chile, Sermon To The Lambs are set to unleash the soul-shaking savagery of their debut, self titled album. Opening with ‘Crowned King Of Worms’, guitars rise around you like a cloud of venomous winged insects while a voice of undead malevolence roars from the heart of the swarm. Masterfully entwining slow, hypnotic passages that dance with a sinuous, serpentine wickedness and explosions of rabid speed and fury, Sermon To The Lambs begin to disassemble your reality. The eponymous title track follows with imperious power and subjugating force - it hits hard with an iron fist, threatening to separate skin from flesh and flesh from bone - and that tangible sense of unquestionable domination permeates the whole of this formidably impressive first album. From ‘Maximum Apostasy’, which beguiles with an atmosphere of dust and sacrilege before bringing forth absolute annihilation that sets the blood on fire, to ‘Flagrum Taxillatum’, a spiralling descent into the depths of perdition, this album just gets stronger and stronger as it progresses; more vivid, inventive and excruciating in its torments. The final two tracks – ‘God Spat And The Man Was Done’ and ‘Clergy’s Malevolence’, both colossal outpourings of death, appear as twin-headed devils, reprised as bonus tracks featuring guest vocals from Jeff Page of Manifestations. Sermon To The Lambs is magnificently unforgiving, an eruption of crawling horrors from a tortured, broken earth.
Sermon To The Lambs’ first offering of blasphemic brutality will be brought into the light on March 6th by the masters of malignancy and pain, Comatose Music. Given teeth and claws by the skilled mixing and mastering of the band’s own Victor Araneda, who has also worked with the likes of In Asymmetry, First Degree Murder and Supreme Banishment, Sermon To The Lambs sounds vicious and uncontrollable. Adorned in the stunning artwork of Par Olofsson (Winds Of Plague, Unleashed, Thy Art Is Murder) this album is set to leave its indelible mark, a suppurating wound, on the global death metal scene.
