The More I See
-
The band was formed in 2002 by Gizz Butt, the world renowned guitarist who has served time with bands such as English Dogs, War Dance, Janus Stark, The Prodigy, The Destructors and Sabbat. Admired by household names like Metallica and the Foo Fighters for his innovation and skill, Gizz is truly a member of the six string elite.
THE MORE I SEE’s first three albums were all impressive releases in their own right, emerging on respected labels like SPV and Transcend Media and garnering ecstatic reviews and press support from major metal publications Metal Hammer, Zero Tolerance and Powerplay amongst others. The band have shared the stage with an array of major artists, including Stuck Mojo, Nightwish, Exodus, Overkill and Blaze Bayley over the years as well.
The band’s latest album, The Disappearing Humans, was mixed by top metal producer Scott Atkins (-Cradle Of Filth, Sylosis, Amon Amarth etc.) and mastered at the world famous Abbey Road studios by Steeve Rooke (-Beatles, Wings, Status Quo) and is without doubt the most exciting album to bear the name of THE MORE I SEE. The guitar interplay between Gizz and James is breathtaking and the fire power of the Wright/Markwick rhythm section is second to none. The songs were painstakingly developed over a two year period and each and every one is of the very highest quality.
No expense was spared on the making of a video to accompany the first single from the album, ‘The Eye That Offends’ - the band flying out to Tunisia and filming at three of the desert sets from the original Star Wars film; becoming the first band ever to use these hallowed locations.A selection of press feedback:
