Sidewinder prepare to release March Of The Eternal Heretic

Since forming in Leeds, West Yorkshire in 2019, through an array of high impact live performances, a handful of singles and demos and one full length release, War Tapes Vol. 1, Sidewinder have built a reputation for themselves as a formidable force in the region’s underground. Their intense and energised brand of crossover, a head on collision between fierce, frenzied thrash and aggressive, defiant hardcore, is proving irresistible to adrenaline junkies, headbangers and pit fiends alike. And they’re about to deliver their hardest, fastest, most heavily armoured attack yet – March Of The Eternal Heretic!

March Of The Eternal Heretic is an EP consisting of four songs that, collectively and individually, have the power to break bones and level buildings. Drawing on the infernal intensity of classic Slayer, the violent crunch of Exodus and the street aggression of Cro-Mags and Agnostic Front, Sidewinder have concocted a heady elixir of brain-melting ferocity and stamped the whole thing with their own unmistakeable character and quality. They blast through the EPs title track, spitting bullets and wielding their guitars like flamethrowers – accompanied by a guest appearance from Inhuman Nature’s Chris Barling – deliver bruising body blows via the rhythmic punch of ‘From Beneath They Shall Rise’ and stare down the world with the fearless and ferocious ‘Ashes Of Reality’. And before all that comes your way you can get a two minute forty seven second warning from first single ‘Two Zero One’, which will detonate on January 31st and cull the herd for the thrash attack to come.

Out on February 7th, March Of The Eternal Heretic will establish Sidewinder as serious contenders on the UK’s extreme music scene. Engineered and mastered by James Atkinson (Angel Witch, Carcass, Wytch Hazel etc) for a full force sound that will take your head clean off and adorned in the amazing artwork of renowned tattooist Gareth Hares, March Of The Eternal Heretic is the real deal. No one is walking away from this one unscathed.
