While best known for his work as guitarist and vocalist with Virginia’s hard thrashing Shovelhead A.D., multi instrumentalist Chuck Weatherman also has a darker, heavier side to his musical personality. Chuck’s most feral and ferocious creations have now been given an outlet and are about to rampage through your world under the banner of King’s Hammer. Full of dank and destructive death metal, rotten riffs and gargantuan grooves, the first assault from King’s Hammer is about to strike – featuring five songs of muscle and blood, To Speak In Tongues is here.

To Speak In Tongues is raw to the bone and skull crushingly heavy, but while possessing an unswerving dedication to full force impact also delivers a surprising diversity and encompassing atmosphere. First single, ‘Vehement Zeal’ is full of old school death metal fervour, a careering underground assault, while ‘Crusade IX’ is epic in stature and threaded through with hypnotic guitar lines. ‘Wrath Descends’ spews forth ground-shaking grooves like a dirt besmirched, disfigured Pantera, while ‘The War In Heaven’ fires out riffs like shotgun blasts and ‘Witches Bvrn’ takes us down into the darkness, steel clad and merciless.
