Beleth Prepare To Release The Grinding Void

Hailing from Australia, Beleth were first formed as a recording project during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic and all the restrictions associated with it. However, as the world opened up once more Beleth didn't fade back into the shadows - that creative spark, ignited in the darkness, simply began to burn brighter. The riffs kept coming, heavier and harder, while the grooves got deeper and more irresistible. In 2021 the band's debut album, Silent Genesis, was released through Wormholdeath Records, in association with Scorching Earth Records and Narcoleptica Productions and positive reviews flooded in from all corners of the worldwide metal press. Devil's Horns Zine drew comparisons with Carcass and Lamb Of God, declaring Silent Genesis to be a “raging gem”, while Acta Infernalis described Beleth as “a motivated and energetic riff machine” - and that was just the tip of the iceberg of critical acclaim. Since the release of Silent Genesis, Beleth have kept themselves in the spotlight with a series of independently released singles, including a bulldozing rendition of Metallica classic 'No Remorse' - and now, with formidable new vocalist Dean Wade firmly ensconced in the ranks, their latest single is about to detonate…

'The Grinding Void' retains all the Beleth trademarks that made Silent Genesis land with such impact - the muscular riffs, the inherent melody, the rolling rhythms and monstrous vocal roars - and it adds more. Swathed in atmosphere 'The Grinding Void' begins with a descent into darkness, through blood and flame. You can sense the approach of something inevitable and undeniable - and then those riffs punch through the gathered mists in an onslaught of hard-hitting metal. The delivery is measured and focused, the chorus expansive and addictive and you can feel the power building relentlessly as the song reaches an electrifying climax with a guest guitar solo from Aidan Cibich (Echoes In Eternity, ex-Apophis, ex-Tanin'iver etc).

Mixed and mastered by the in-demand Lasse Lammert (Raven, Sigh, Godsnake etc) at LSD Studios in Germany, 'The Grinding Void' sounds rugged, vital and armour plated.
